Will O’ the Wisp

Will O’ the Wisp resort has been a long-standing tradition for vacationers to the Deep Creek area. Opening in 1943 as 23 rustic lakefront cabins, the name Will O’ the Wisp comes from the term describing a mysterious light seen over bayous in the south. Over the years, the property has changed and grown, the 47 prestige condominium structure that stands now was built in 1975, replacing a ten-room motel that had originally been in its place. Today these prestige condominiums have lots to offer travelers visiting the area. No need to worry about finding friends to share a vacation home with – simply select the type of lodging you prefer and book your trip to Deep Creek! Don’t worry about bringing all your supplies or about housekeeping or preparing food (although you can have a kitchen if you wish). There is no danger of your driveway being blocked by snow, and with on-site amenities, you have plenty to do during rainy weather.
