Golden Pantry Food Stores has completed a major technology upgrade across all its locations in Madison County. The company has invested in new technology and modern equipment to enhance the customer experience at the pump and inside the stores.
With the installation of the new gas pumps and point-of-sale systems, Golden Pantry customers can now enjoy advanced card readers with chip technology and tap-to-pay functionality. These upgrades aim to streamline transactions, offer greater convenience, and add a level of security for customers using credit and debit cards.
“The updated pumps don’t just improve efficiency, they help protect our customers’ financial information with the latest in secure payment technology,” said Katie Morris, Director of Marketing at Golden Pantry. “Customers can pay at the pump with confidence.”
The new pumps also feature enhanced displays to inform customers about in-store deals, local events, and Golden Pantry’s charitable initiatives through the Be Golden Fund. “We’re committed to this community, and the new displays let us better share what’s happening locally, we encourage local non-for-profits and organizations to reach out to us to have their organization featured on the screens!” Morris added.
The technology investment underscores Golden Pantry’s dedication to being a trusted neighborhood retailer that provides convenience, value and prioritizes customer satisfaction. By embracing innovation while focusing on security, Golden Pantry continues in their nearly 60-year tradition of serving local communities.
