In the final days of the semester, Montana Tech students continued work on one of two housing projects at Highlands College for their education in the construction technology program on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
Two years ago, Tech acquired funding to enable the program to start building houses on their campus, which gives students real-life experience in a lab setting while they are still in school prior to entering the job market.
“The program itself ties in everything they learn in the classroom,” said Rich Miller, a construction technology instructor at the school. “It’s a full immersion experience.”
