The newest branch for Regions Bank not only consolidates three Hixson offices, but also is designed with technology and staffing to provide more banking services on a personalized basis as consumers enter the new office on Highway 153.
Regions officials Tuesday celebrated the newest branch, which was built in the Northtowne Center shopping center at Highway 153 and Northpointe Boulevard to replace three branches that closed earlier this year. Malaka Fletcher, the branch manager for the new office, said the branch is designed to provide a range of personalized services for those coming into the office as well as one walk-up and two drive-through Regions DepositSmart automatic teller machines outside that can be used at any time.
Instead of traditional bank tellers handing some transactions and loan officers processing other banking needs, branch employees handle a range of duties at each of the new pods within the branch.
